When Indieformer began, we were covering Kickstarter projects (excuse the cringe).

Back then, it was a dream that one day I’d have a project of my own to put through the platform. It’s always been amazing to see players come together to support a project from the ground up and turn an idea into a reality.

You can probably guess where I’m going with this: we are running a Kickstarter for a game we’re publishing.

For the first time in 12 years, the universe has aligned to give us the golden opportunity to help bring a game to the masses. It’s surreal, a little scary, and incredibly exciting. It's going to be a massive learning experience, but we are all in.

Right now, we are a brand new studio, keeping the lights on out of our own pockets and still working full-time jobs to make this gaming dream a reality. Taking this leap is a huge risk, but it's exactly what crowdfunding is all about.

We’d love the support of the Indieformer community—not just to make our first game a success, but to help us kick off this new publishing phase. We want to support indie games in a much deeper way than just sending out emails with links to them. We want to be involved right at ground zero, getting our hands dirty alongside developers to make the best games possible.

On April 14th (it’s close!), our Kickstarter for Feed the Scorchpot goes live, and then it’s in your hands. We want to make sure supporting us early comes with great rewards. If you back within the first 24 hours, you'll get the game at a discount ($14 USD) and snag a custom, Kickstarter-exclusive skin for your in-game dice.

But this is Kickstarter! And you can’t do Kickstarter without physical rewards… which have just been announced. The Discord is the place to be to stay updated.

Hex-Tile Coasters — a set of seven, printed with the Scorchpot history. AND, a set of Custom Dice — six fated cubes to determine whether your island prospers or burns. This tier will be priced at AUD $100 (or roughly USD $70 for those across the great waters), but we're just confirming costs so this may change.
